Cross Belt Sampler is used to obtain representative samples of bulk materials being conveyed on a conveyor belt. These are deployed in industries like mining, power generation, steel, cement, mineral beneficiation plants and such, for obtaining accurate and reliable material samples in compliance with quality standards. The GSS Cross Belt Sampler uses a scoop type sample cutter, fitted above the conveyor belt, perpendicular to the material flow. The scoop is counterweighted, and rotates at 3600, collection material samples from the moving conveyor belt at regular time intervals. The sample cutter is driven by a Brake Geared Motor and is selected based on Conveyor Capacity & Speed, Belt Width and Material Characteristics.
